Same size - different fit!
The slacks I had bought a few months ago (Uniform 33w; 34l - an unusual combination of numbers!)) were a perfect fit, comfortable to wear and quickly became my favourite daily wear. When I recently wanted another pair, the original style seemed to be no longer available but the Transit Chino looked very similar so I ordered those (33w; 34l). There were some unfortunate delivery issues but eventually the chinos did arrive safely. They also fit, overall, but somehow the garment sizing was less than perfect (for my frame), largely because the Transit fabric is distinctly heavier than the Uniform fabric (by about 100g) and does not drape as well. This is what happens, I guess, when you have no opportunity to try garments on before purchase. I can wear the Transit chinos, and I will (especially since we are getting into colder weather) but it was a bit disappointing to find the fit was less-than-ideal (especially after all the hassle of on-line ordering and misdelivery). I must add, however, that the customer support I received from Everlane when we had delivery problems was impressive. First-class!
