Fail
This is NOT a revival of the straight leg crop as i had hoped. The fabric is rougher (I bought Navy), the fit is not flattering, the construction is cheaper. First thing I noticed when I tried on was that the crotch seam intersection sticks straight up as there is no topstitching on the inseam. It was almost penetrating me. Next, the fit is more relaxed and baggy, the rise is not as high as the original, but the waistband is tight. The hips have too much curve shaping which combined with the weirdly placed waistband just looks “hippy” on the sides. Not flattering on the bum too much fabric on back of thigh. So sad. 😭
